I was born in Leuven, Belgium in 1986. My artistic career began in 2006 after completing my studies in Fashion Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. I spent the first years training in the industry as an intern for Giambattista Valli in Paris, Threeasfour in New York and Loewe in Madrid. In 2010 I created my brand Soda Pop with a very recognizable 90’s vibe.

A couple of years after a group of friends and I founded the first Nail Art collective in Spain called Ghetto Nailz, pioneering in this sector and creating a style which recognizably was our trademark. I transfered the Soda Pop vibe to nails and we were also very inspired by the Memphis Milano 80’s art movement.

After a while creating art on nails I felt the urge to make really big scale paintings, so I taught myself how to paint murals. I learned different techniques like spraypaint, acrylics and oil painting. I started getting commissions without really being an expert in the field so I was learning throughout the process.

Since 2014 I have been developing my skills in painting and simultaneously working on my brand and as a Costume Designer for music videoclips and the film industry.

I have merged my Soda Pop world into my painting as a more matured and introspective expression coming from the same source. After the passing of my mother in 2013 I began to cultivate my inner life in search of harmony inspired by the natural world, the vastness of the invisible and a compelling interest for sacred geometry and symbology. The human spirit, the soul and transcendentalism are a recurrent subject in my work.

Colour is the base of my work and responsible for my healing and growth. Through my art and colour fields I want to remind the viewer of the source within.
